Heyyyyyy!!! And Welcome to Coached By Chelle, the blog!
I am a wife, Child of God, and mother of three beautiful girls, and my motivation for healing is so my girls never have to.
I'm thrilled to be doing what I love once again! I took a season off; now that I think about it, that was the longest season of my life. Geez! However, in that off-season, I learned, grew, and experienced some traumas on top of traumas I never dared to face. Whew! Can we pause here and send one up for your girl? No, seriously-it's been a journey!
In that season, I often questioned God- asking why me? Why does he keep allowing me to go through things? Why does he let the people I love so dearly, hurt me? Continuously! Why does nothing ever seem to work out for me? Just a bunch of whining, complaining, and whyyyys.
But before I continue, let me give you a fair warning! I've spent most of my life watering myself down to please people and not being authentically me. Over here, in my little corner of the internet, you'll get the real, raw, and unfiltered me. And that may not always be "Little Miss Professional." So, if you're looking for someone to dress it up and make it look pretty- well, I'm still going to look pretty! However, you might also get a touch of silliness, some crying (because I'm a big crybaby- so what?), and even a few mistakes. Let's be honest- I'm not perfect, and neither are you. But I can assure you that in the midst of all that, you'll get plenty of encouragement, love, positivity, and prayers. Now, if that isn't what you're looking for, I suggest you exit stage left... or right- whichever you prefer!
Now, back to our regular scheduled program!
Life has been a natural born teacher to me, and all the why me's, the boo-hooing, and the mess and junk I've endured has equipped me for such a time as this. I've learned that everything I've gone through was NECESSARY- I had to go through it to get through it so I could help others through it! And that's my ultimate goal: as a coach, friend, prayer partner, accountability partner, big sister, auntie- whatever you need, I'm here to help you move forward.
I've been writing since I was a little girl- it was my way of releasing thoughts I couldn't say out loud. I still write, but now I want to share my words and be transparent in doing so to help whomever God places in my path.
